BASKETBALL TEAMS TAKE PART IN NCAA FITNESS FOR LIFE CLINIC

BRYANT UNIVERSITY BASKETBALL COACHING STAFF ASSISTS WITH FITNESS FOR LIFE CLINIC

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – In conjunction with the recent NCAA Division I men’s basketball regional games at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, the Bryant University men’s and women’s basketball coaches took part in a Fitness For Life Clinic held next door to the arena at the Rhode Island Convention Center on March 17. 

The clinic, co-sponsored by the NCAA, the BIG EAST Conference and Providence College, host of the 2010 NCAA Regional Tournament, drew more than 400 kids from area communities including Providence, Cranston, Warwick, Middletown and Attleboro, Mass. 

Taking part in the clinic were head men’s and women’s basketball coaches Tim O’Shea and Mary Burke along with assistants Dwayne Pina, Kevin Kurbec, Peter Kahler and Mark Caruso.
