As a freshman: Enjoyed one of the finest rookie campaigns in recent program history, appearing in all 30 games (23 starts) as a freshman and emerging as one of the conference's future stars ... Named the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Year ... Also named to the NEC All-Rookie Team ... A six-time recipient of the NEC Rookie of the Week award ... Led the team in points and scoring average with 443 and 14.8 per game, respectively ... Hardly could miss from the floor, leading the team with a .507 field goal percentage ... Led the team with 198 trips to charity stripe, knocking down a team-best 103 shots from the foul line ... Was a rebounding machine on both ends of the floor, pacing the team with 239 total rebounds ... Tied for the team-lead with 16 blocked shots on the year ... Best performance of the season--and one of the finest efforts for any individual in the conference--occurred against Long Island on Feb. 24, after he ripped off 43 points on a 20-of-27 clip from the field to set career highs in points and field goals in a game ... Set a personal best after collecting 13 boards at Brown on New Year's Eve, in addition to his 21 points scored ... Had another breakout game against Mount St. Mary's on Jan. 29, as he set then-career bests in points in a game (25) and field goals in a game (10) while also gathering nine rebounds, an effort only surpassed by his epic game at Long Island on Feb. 24 ... Finished the year with a 25-point game at St. Francis, hitting 8-of-15 from the field while tying a personal best with nine free throws.
