Bio
As a junior
The only Bulldog to start all 30 games and one of four to appear in
every contest in 2011-12, Dobbs ran the offense and the floor
general for the Black and Gold ... Finished second in the Northeast
Conference and led the team in assists, dishing out 138 helpers to
average 4.6 per game ... Averaged 38 minutes per game, leading the
league in individual floor time while playing every single minute
of 12 different contests and playing less than 35 minutes just
twice ... Also led the team in steals, with 26, made 3-pointers,
with 70, and free throw percentage, going 112-of-137 from the line
for an 81.8 percent clip ... Finished the year second on the team
in numerous categories, including total points (400), scoring
average (13.3 ppg), field goals made (109), free throws made (112),
total rebounds (106) and defensive rebounds (88) ... Averaged 3.5
boards per game, good for third overall ... Ranked in the NEC's top
10 in minutes played (1st), assists (2nd), assist-to-turnover ratio
(4th; 1.70), free throw percentage (7th) and 3-pointers (8th) ...

As a redshirt sophomore
The only Bulldog to start all 30 contests in 2010-11,
Dobbs was a major contributor during his first full season with the
Black and Gold, leading the squad in several offensive
categories ... Dished out 160 assists to pace the Bulldogs,
including handing out a career-high 10 assists twice (at Columbia,
vs. Monmouth) ... His 5.33 assists per game were ranked second in
the league ... Averaged a team-high 36.6 minutes per contest, good
for third in the Northeast conference ... Led the team in
free throw percentage, converting 81.3 percent (87-of-107) of his
chances at the charity stripe - good for eighth among all NEC
players ... Averaged 12.4 points per game, good for third-most on
the team and 18th in the conference ... Also ranked
in the NEC's top-10 in 3-pointers made (7th, 2.07/game), 3-point
field goal percentage (9th, .388) and assist-to-turnover ratio
(6th, 1.88) ... Set career highs in points, field goals made and
three-pointers made in a game against Fairleigh Dickinson on
Jan. 20, knocking down seven buckets - all from beyond the arc -
for 25 points ... Made his Bulldog debut at Cleveland State on Nov.
12, shooting 5-for-8 from the field for a then-personal best 15
points ... Topped that mark two games later against Iona, when he
dropped four treys en route to a 20-point performance ...
Registered double-digit points in 22 of 30 contests, including his
first 10 contests as a Bulldog ... Enjoyed three 20+-point
performances on the year ... Pulled down eight boards and dished
out nine assists at Big Ten foe Michigan on Dec. 23 ... Hauled in a
career-best 10 rebounds at St. Francis (NY) on Feb. 26 ... In
total, collected 97 rebounds, including 86 defensive boards, on the
season ... Averaged 5.3 assists per game and 1.1 steals per
contest, both team bests.
As a sophomore
Sat out his first season at Bryant due to NCAA transfer
rules after transferring from Ohio University.

Transfer from Ohio University, where he spent his
freshman season (2008-09) with the Bobcats, seeing action in
31-of-32 games ... Dished out a career-high seven assists and added
four points and four rebounds in a win over Indiana State ...
Netted six points, handing out five assists and pulling down a
career-high five boards at No. 11/11 Louisville ... Scored seven
second-half points and notched three assists in the Bobcats'
season-opening win over William & Mary.

Cleveland Plain Dealer All-District selection, garnering
second-team accolades as a senior ... Averaged 10 points and 10

The son of Frank and Karen Dobbs, Franklin Delano Dobbs
was born July 31, 1990 ... Father played basketball at Villanova
and mother ran track at Florida State ... Has one sister, Alexis,
who plays basketball for American University ... Made the switch to
Bryant to play for Coach O'Shea, who recruited him to Ohio
University.
