SCOUTING THE MIDSHIPMEN
Navy is 1-2 through three games against a challenging schedule. The Midshipmen opened the year with a 71-62 win over Pitt in Annapolis before falling to No. 13 Miami Sunday and Penn Tuesday.

Hasan Abdullah leads Navy with 9.7 points per game, while Bryce Dulin has grabbed a team-high 6.3 rebounds per game. Abdullah also leads the Midshipmen with seven steals.

THE SERIES
Bryant is 1-2 against Navy and looks to avenge last year's 76-74 loss in Annapolis. Adam Grant (Franklin, Va.) had a game-high 24 points in last year's meeting.

LAST TIME OUT: NC STATE 95, BRYANT 72
Sophomore Adam Grant (Franklin, Va.) tallied a team-high 24 points and four Bulldogs were in double-figures in Tuesday's 95-72 setback in Raleigh. Bryant jumped out to a 19-7 lead to begin the game.

BASH IS BACK
Sophomore Sabastian Townes (Chesapeake, Va.) made his presence known in his first game of the season Tuesday at NC State. Townes tallied 13 points and eight rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench.

IMMEDIATE IMPACT
Freshman Ryan Layman (Wrentham, Mass.) has recorded 13.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in his first two collegiate contests. Layman tallied a career-high 14 points in Tuesday's game at NC State - his first career start. Layman ranks 13th in the NEC in scoring and sixth in rebounding entering the weekend.

GRAND START FOR GRANT
Sophomore Adam Grant (Franklin, Va.) has scored 24 points in each of his first two games this season, putting him tied for the NEC lead in scoring entering the weekend. Grant has collected 20 or more points six times in his first 34 collegiate games and 10 or more in 23 of 34.

10-4
Four Bulldogs scored at least 10 points in Tuesday's game at NC State - Adam Grant (24), Ryan Layman (14), Sabastian Townes (13) and Bosko Kostur (11). It marked the first time Bryant had four players in double figures against a major conference opponent since Dan Garvin, Shane McLaughlin, Hunter Ware and Nisre Zouzoua achieved the feat Dec. 12, 2015 at No. 15 Providence.

NEXT UP: RUTGERS
Bryant returns to the road for a Tuesday night game at Rutgers. The Bulldogs and Scarlet Knights will square off at 7 p.m. in Piscataway. The game can be seen on BTN Plus.
