SCOUTING THE BLACKBIRDS
LIU Brooklyn is 6-7 on the year and 0-1 in the NEC after a 79-75 loss to Sacred Heart Thursday in Fairfield. Raiquan Clark had 28 points to lead the Blackbirds.
Clark leads the NEC with 20.8 points per game, while Ty Flowers has grabbed a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game. The Blackbirds are third in the conference in scoring at 75.2 points per game.

LIU Brooklyn holds a 12-6 advantage in the all-time series and has swept the season series in each of the last two seasons.
Adam Grant (Franklin, Va.) scored 17.5 points per game in the two meetings with the Blackbirds a year ago, including a 20-point performance in Brooklyn.

Junior SaBastian Townes (Chesapeake, Va.) tallied 28 points to lead the way and Bryant closed the game on a 9-0 run for a 76-66 win over St. Francis Brooklyn Thursday at the Chace Athletic Center.
WHAT A JUAN-DERFUL WORLD
Junior Juan Cardenas (Medellin, Colombia) had his best offensive performance as a Bulldog Thursday, recording career-highs in points (12) and rebounds (8) in the win over St. Francis Brooklyn.
BASH GETS BUCKETS
Junior SaBastian Townes has put up three straight 20-point performances against mid-major competition, scoring 34 points against Hartford, 23 in the win over Dartmouth and 28 in the victory over St. Francis Brooklyn.
ORDERING A LIFT
Freshman Joe Kasperzyk (New Haven, Conn.) has provided a spark in the four games in which he has come off the bench, averaging 14.0 points per game on 50 percent shooting from the floor. Kasperzyk's 19 points against Dartmouth and 18 vs. Navy are the two highest scoring outputs so far in his career.
THAT'S GONNA BE A NO FROM THIS DAWG
Junior Juan Cardenas leads Bryant with 17 blocks and has tallied two or more in six of his last seven games. Cardenas' 17 blocks on the year rank 10th in a single season in Bryant's D1 era.
MAKING A POINT ABOUT POINTS
Bryant has held the opposition to 68.3 points per game over the Bulldogs' last three contests, allowing 67 to Dartmouth, 72 to Iowa and 66 to St. Francis Brooklyn.
NOT BASHFUL FROM BEYOND THE ARC
Junior SaBastian Townes is 9-for-20 from three this year including a game-winner against Dartmouth. Townes made a combined four three-pointers in his first two seasons.
LINE ITEM
Bryant went 32-for-36 from the free throw line in Thursday's win over St. Francis Brooklyn. The 32 made free throws were the second-most in a single game in Bryant's Division I era, as were the 13 makes and 16 attempts by junior SaBastian Townes.
