Grasso announces signing of Ayo Dada

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University head men's basketball coach Jared Grasso has announced the signing of Ayo Dada (Houston, Texas) to the Bulldog program.

"Ayo is a tough and competitive guard who can play multiple positions," said Grasso. "His ability to make shots and defend on the perimeter make him a great fit in our system. More importantly, he is a strong student and terrific young man who will be a quality ambassador for our program."

Dada joins Bryant from Eastern Florida State College, where he played the 2018-19 season for the Titans. The 6-2 guard averaged 9.8 points per game in 36 contests as a sophomore, shooting 40.4 percent from the field. In his first junior college year at North Lake College, Dada scored 14.0 points per game on 41.5 percent shooting and 40 percent from three.

Dada will suit up for the Black & Gold in 2019-20 with two years of eligibility remaining.

Bryant begins its 2019-20 season in November at the Chace Athletic Center. Full non-conference schedule information will be available later this summer.
