SCOUTING THE BIG RED
Cornell is 1-0 on the year after an 84-64 win over Binghamton in Tuesday's season opener. Jimmy Boeheim led all scorers with 24 points, while three other Big Red players were in double figures.

The Big Red, who went 15-16 and 7-7 in the Ivy League last season, were picked to finish seventh in the Ivy this year. Cornell was 0-1 against the NEC last season with an overtime loss to Robert Morris in the first round of the CIT.

THE SERIES
Bryant and Cornell are meeting for the third time in program history but first in 10 seasons. The Big Red have won both matchups with the last contest a 75-49 Cornell win in January 2010.

The Bulldogs are 9-34 all-time against the Ivy League following Tuesday's defeat against Brown. Bryant will host three Ivies this season and travel to another.

LAST TIME OUT: RUTGERS 73, BRYANT 71
Bryant made seven second-half three-pointers to carve into a 16-point deficit, but the game-winning three was off-line as Rutgers survived a scare from the Black & Gold in the Scarlet Knights' season opener Thursday.

Grant recorded 23 points to lead all scorers, while freshman Charles Pride (Syracuse, N.Y.) erupted for 22.

MAJOR KEYS
Pride dropped in 22 points Thursday at Rutgers - the most ever by Bryant freshman against an opponent from a major conference (AAC, ACC, Big East, B1G, Big 12, Pac-12, SEC.) Pride sank five threes in the contest and grabbed seven rebounds.

Freshman Michael Green III (Bronx, N.Y.) tallied seven assists against the Scarlet Knights, matching the output by Ikenna Ndugba (Boston, Mass.) against Northwestern in 2016 for the most dished out by a Bryant rookie against an opponent from one of those seven conferences.

SWISHING AND DISHING
Grant has led the Bulldogs in scoring in both games this year with 21 vs. Brown and 23 at Rutgers. Grant is also making an impact on others' scoring, as the senior notched six assists in Thursday's contest to surpass the 200 mark for his career.

GOING GREEN
Green has impressed in his first two contests in Black & Gold. The point guard from the Bronx tallied 14 points in his debut Tuesday before collecting 11 points and seven assists Thursday at Rutgers.

REJECTION LETTERS
Redshirt-junior Hall Elisias (Valley Stream, N.Y.) tallied six blocks in Thursday's game at Rutgers - the third-most in a single game in Bryant's Division I history and highest total since Papa Lo swatted seven Central Connecticut shots in 2010.

Bryant recorded nine blocks as a team - the most by the Bulldogs against a non-conference opponent in the program's Division I era and tied for third in all of Bryant's D1 games.

STEAL MILL
Grant and Ndugba are rapidly approaching Bryant's Division I career steals record of 116, held by Corey Maynard. Grant's three steals Tuesday moved him up to second at 109, while Ndugba is fifth at 102 with two Thursday.

UP NEXT: SAINT PETER'S
Bryant makes its first trip to Jersey City to face Saint Peter's Wednesday night. The 7 p.m. contest between the Bulldogs and Peacocks can be seen on ESPN+.
