Grasso hosting virtual coaches' clinic May 7

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University head men's basketball coach Jared Grasso will hold a virtual coaches' clinic for high school and AAU coaches, Thursday, May 7, at 2 p.m.

Grasso will host the virtual event for up to 100 attendees. The afternoon will begin with a 2 p.m. presentation, followed by a 2:40 p.m. question and answer session.

Space is limited and registration is available by contacting Director of Operations Eamonn Mahar at emahar@bryant.edu.

Grasso has authored one of the nation's top turnarounds over the last two seasons, inheriting a three-win program and leading the Bulldogs to a 15-win campaign in 2019-20 – four victories shy of the Bulldogs' Division I best.

Bryant earned a program-record nine NEC Rookies of the Week during Grasso's second year in Smithfield and became the first program in conference history to have three freshmen win multiple weekly rookie honors. The Bulldogs also rose to 11th nationally in rebounding and 46th in blocks in 2019-20 after ranking in the bottom 10 in the nation prior to his arrival.

Bryant will begin its 2020-21 campaign Tuesday, Nov. 10. Full schedule and ticketing information for the upcoming season will be available this summer.
