Gross-Bullock named America East Player of the Week

BOSTON -- Bryant University men's basketball senior Sherif Gross-Bullock was named the America East Player of the Week on Tuesday. 

Gross-Bullock picks up his second player of the week honor after previously winning the award on Nov. 14.

The Washington, D.C., native scored a career-high 29 points in the Bulldogs' victory over Binghamton on Saturday. He added six rebounds and two steals. Gross-Bullock finished the game 8-of-19 from the field, 5-of-13 from three and 8-of-9 from the line. His five made three-point field goals also matched a career high. Gross-Bullock is now averaging a league-best 17.0 ppg.

Bryant returns to the floor on Thursday night when they face Vermont on ESPNU. Tip is set for 7:01 p.m. in Burlington, Vermont.
