Gross-Bullock named America East Co-Player of the Week

BOSTON -- Bryant University men's basketball senior Sherif Gross-Bullock was named the America East Co-Player of the Year on Monday.

Gross-Bullock shared player of the week honors with Vermont's Finn Sullivan. The Washington, D.C., native averaged 31.0 ppg and 3.5 apg in a 1-1 week for the Black and Gold.

SGB scored the first 12 points and finished with 23 on Wednesday at UAlbany before exploding for a career-high 39 points at UMBC. The 39 points are also the most by an America East player this season. Against the Retrievers, Gross-Bullock finished 13-of-22 from the field and 7-of-11 from three at UMBC. He finished the week 11-of-19 from three and is now leading the America East with 17.6 ppg. 

Gross-Bullock has posted nine 20-point games this season.

Bryant returns to the court on Wednesday night when it hosts UMass Lowell at the Chace Athletic Center. Tip is set for 7:02 p.m.
