Antwan Walker signs with BC Siauliai in the Lithuanian Basketball League

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Former Bryant University men's basketball player Antwan Walker has signed a professional contract to play for BC Siauliai in the Lithuanian Basketball League.

Walker played the 2022-23 season in Smithfield and becomes the second player on that roster to sign a professional contract, joining Chauncey Hawkins IV

The Washington, D.C., native shined in his lone season with the Black and Gold, setting career-highs for points per game (12.7) and rebounds per game (7.2). He finished with eight double-doubles and ranked seventh in the league in rebounds and second in field goal percentage. Walker's best game came against UAlbany, as he dropped a career-high 33 points on 14-of-21 shooting from the field.

Walker becomes the 43rd player coached by Jared Grasso to go and play professionally since 2011. In five seasons at Bryant, Grasso has had nine players ascend to the professional ranks. That list includes Juan Cardenas, Hall Elisias, Adham Eleeda, Adam Grant, Chauncey Hawkins, Peter Kiss, Benson Lin, Ikenna Ndugba and Antwan Walker.
