Bryant hosts Fisher Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's basketball team hosts Fisher College on Wednesday afternoon at the Chace Athletic Center. Tip is set for 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday's game was originally scheduled for 7:00 p.m. but was moved up to form a doubleheader with the men's soccer team. Bryant hosts Binghamton in the America East Semifinals Wednesday night.

THE SERIES
Bryant and Fisher are meeting for the second time in three years. The Bulldogs posted a 122-54 victory over the Falcons to open the 2021-22 season. Tyler Brelsford shined against Fisher, posting 21 points and 11 assists in his Bryant debut. The Black and Gold finished with 33 assists on 49 made field goals. 

GROSS-BULLOCK PACES BRYANT IN OPENER
Sherif Gross-Bullock led the Bulldogs with 14 points in Monday's opener vs Manhattan. He made 4-of-10 from beyond the arc. 

BRELSFORD SHINES
Tyler Brelsford picked up where he left off last season, scoring 13 points on Monday night. The senior posted 15 points in Bryant's America East Quarterfinal game last March and then erupted on Monday night. He hit 2-of-3 from three in the contest.  

FIVE MORE THINGS TO KNOW

  1. Bryant dropped its home opener against Manhattan on Monday, 61-59. The Bulldogs made just 8-of-20 from the free throw line but still had a chance at the buzzer to tie. 
  2. Daniel Rivera shined in his Bryant debut, posting 10 points, nine rebounds and three blocks. He had two electrifying alley-oop slams and also threw down a thunderous dunk in transition.  
  3. Earl Timberlake cleaned up the glass against Manhattan, posting a game-high 13 rebounds. He also scored nine points and posted four assists.      
  4. Phil Martelli Jr. served his first game as Bryant's acting head coach on Monday night vs Manhattan. 
  5. Miles Latimer had a strong game off the bench for Bryant, chipping in eight points and five rebounds in 23 minutes.
