SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's basketball team hits the road for the first time this season when it travels to Rutgers on Sunday, November 12. Tip is set for 12:01 p.m. on BTN+.

THE SERIES
Bryant and Rutgers are meeting for the fourth time in program history. Last time they met was in 2019 when the Black and Gold fell 73-71. Adam Grant's three-point attempt fell just short at the buzzer.  

BRYANT PICKS UP FIRST WIN
Bryant posted its first win of the season on Wednesday vs Fisher, 140-79. The Bulldogs made 17 three-point field goals in the contest and had six players finish in double figures.  

TIMBERLAKE CHASES TRIPLE DOUBLE
Earl Timberlake nearly posted a triple-double vs Fisher, finishing with 15 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.  

FIVE MORE THINGS TO KNOW

  1. Bryant's win over Fisher was the first for acting head coach Phil Martelli Jr.  
  2. Daniel Rivera has shined in the first two games of the season, averaging 15.0 ppg. He scored 20 points on 10-of-14 shooting vs Fisher.  
  3. Sherif Gross-Bullock scored 27 points on Wednesday vs Fisher. He has led Bryant in scoring in each of the first two games.       
  4. Rafael Pinzon posted a career-high 15 points vs Fisher. The effort came on his birthday. 
  5. Bryant will play its next three games and four of its next five games on the road.
