THE SERIES
Bryant and Rutgers are meeting for the fourth time in program history. Last time they met was in 2019 when the Black and Gold fell 73-71. Adam Grant's three-point attempt fell just short at the buzzer.
BRYANT PICKS UP FIRST WIN
Bryant posted its first win of the season on Wednesday vs Fisher, 140-79. The Bulldogs made 17 three-point field goals in the contest and had six players finish in double figures.
TIMBERLAKE CHASES TRIPLE DOUBLE
Earl Timberlake nearly posted a triple-double vs Fisher, finishing with 15 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.
FIVE MORE THINGS TO KNOW
- Bryant's win over Fisher was the first for acting head coach Phil Martelli Jr.
- Daniel Rivera has shined in the first two games of the season, averaging 15.0 ppg. He scored 20 points on 10-of-14 shooting vs Fisher.
- Sherif Gross-Bullock scored 27 points on Wednesday vs Fisher. He has led Bryant in scoring in each of the first two games.
