Timberlake picks up third America East Player of the Week
BOSTON -- Bryant University men's basketball senior Earl Timberlake picked up his third America East Player of the Week honor, the league announced on Monday.
Timberlake posted a career-high 26 points and added nine rebounds, three assists and two blocks in Bryant's 98-89 victory over UAlbany on Saturday.
The Washington, D.C., native made 11-of-18 from the field and knocked down all four of his free throws to record his first 20-point game of the season and the fourth of his career. Timberlake is now averaging 17.8 ppg, 9.0 rpg, 3.5 apg, 1.8 bpg and 1.3 spg in America East play.
Timberlake and the Bulldogs are back on the court Thursday night at NJIT. Tip is set for 7:00 p.m.
