Doug Niblock was promoted to Director of Basketball Operations in October of 2022. The 2023-24 season will be his third on staff as he served as the Director of Basketball Innovation and Analytics in 2021-22. 

Niblock helped the Black and Gold win a DI program record 22 games and take home NEC Regular Season and Tournament titles for the first time in program history. The Black and Gold competed in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championships for the first time in program history in 21-22.

Niblock will join the Bryant coaching staff after completing a successful playing career at St. Joseph's College in New York. He was a two-year starting point guard and finished third in the league in A/TO ration and fifth in minutes played. Niblock has earned coaching experience the last three years, working with the Boys2Men 17 AAU and Lightning East AAU programs. He served as a head coach in both programs and was a co-director for the Lightning East.
