As a junior: Participated in a pair of tournaments for Bryant as a junior... Earned his best finish in the Coca-Cola Intercollegiate, placing 61st with a three-round score of 261 (84-89-88)... Enjoyed his best score and best rounds in his first outing at the MacDonald Cup, carding 78s on the first and third rounds to finish with a 248 and place 75th on the tournament (78-83-78)... The Bulldogs finished fifth at the Coca-Cola Intercollegiate and tied for sixth at the MacDonald Cup... Best round: 78 / Average: 84.8.

Before Bryant: A 2006 graduate of Cape Elizabeth High School, Bernstein led his 2006 team, as captain, to become state and league champions…Four-year letter winner in hockey and golf…2006 All-State and All-Conference selection.

Personal: Son of Andrew and Karla Bernstein, Matthew Bernstein was born December 4, 1987…Has a sister, Rachel…Studying Communications in the College of Arts and Sciences.
