Bulldogs take on Holy Cross, CCSU in weekend tri-match
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University golf team returns to action Saturday and Sunday when the team competes in a tri-match against Holy Cross and Central Connecticut.

Scouting the Opponents
- Holy Cross has competed in two of the same events as Bryant this season. They played at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate to a 7th-place finish out of 13 participants and the Hartford Hawks Invitational, finishing 20th out of 20 schools.
- Central Connecticut also competed at the Ryan T. Memorial Collegiate and finished sixth at the event. At last week's Connecticut Cup, the Blue Devils finished seventh.
Bulldog Notes and Notables
- Bryant was last in action at last week's Connecticut Cup, which was also played at the Ellington Ridge Country Club.
- Junior Ryan Brown (Bedford, N.H.) led the Northeast Conference in the month of September with a 72.4 scoring average. Brown placed third (E) at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate, the Bulldogs' fall opener.
- Graduate student John Roberts (West Hartford, Conn.) was Bryant's top finisher at the Connecticut Cup, finishing T-30th overall.
