Bryant selected to finish third in NEC preseason poll

Somerset, N.J. – The Bryant University golf team was selected to finish third in the Northeast Conference by the NEC head coaches on Wednesday afternoon. The Bulldogs received one first-place vote.

Defending champion Robert Morris was selected to finish first they received five first-place votes. Fairleigh Dickinson received three first-place votes and is predicted to finish in second. The rest of the-nine team poll is followed by Sacred Heart, Saint Francis U, LIU, Mount St. Mary's, Wagner, and St. Francis Brooklyn.

In the Spring of 2019 the Black and Gold finished in second-place behind Robert Morris at the NEC Championships.

Sophomore Tyler Hahn (Avon, Conn.) led the team in the Fall with a 75.40 average. He will be joined by seniors Matthew Stafford (Suffield, Conn.), Connor Henderson (Southborough, Mass.), junior Nick Piersall (Portland, Conn.), and freshman Jonah Klaasen (Westlake Village, Calif.) whom all competed in at least three tournaments last fall.

The Bulldogs will start the spring season in Daytona Beach, Florida to compete in the Lonnie Barton Invitational (March 9-10).
