Bulldogs in seventh after round 1 of Lonnie Barton
Daytona Beach, Fla. – Senior Matthew Stafford (Suffield, Conn.) and sophomore Tyler Hahn (Avon, Conn.) of the Bryant University men's golf team leads the way for the Bulldogs at round one of the Lonnie Barton Invitational on Monday.

"Day one we played okay for the first round of the year. A lot of mental mistakes in very windy conditions. Looking to minimize the mental errors tomorrow."
How it Happened
- Stafford and Hahn both shot a 75 and are tied for 11th on the leaderboard.
- Jonah Klassen (Westlake Village, Calif.) posted a round of 77 and is tied for 26th after the first round.
- Junior Nick Piersall (Portland, Conn.) had the only eagle on the day for the Black and Gold on the sixth hole.
- The Bulldogs are currently in sixth place with a team total of 305.
- Ten strokes separate first-place Fairleigh Dickinson and Bryant. The Bulldogs are three strokes behind third-place with one more round to go.
