Men?s Lacrosse Drops ?Home? Opener 13-10

WEST HAVEN, CONN. – The Bryant University men’s lacrosse team lost their “home” opener 13-10 to Notre Dame de Namur today in game played at West Haven High School in West Haven, Connecticut.

The home game was played at West Haven due to the hard winter in Smithfield leaving snow on Bulldog Stadium at Bryant.

The change of venue did not seem to affect Bryant (1-1) junior Jedd Storoshenko (Bayshore, NY) who finished with a team-highs three goals, two assists, and five points on the game. Senior Andrew Serge (Albany, NY) added two goals and one assist, while senior Aaron LeFever (Cortland, NY) added two goals.

Notre Dame de Namur (12-1), from Belmont, California, was lead by three junior, sophomore, and freshman up front. Freshmen Tim Campea (Coquitlam, British Columbia) netted three goals and three assits, sophomore Cody Hart (Boise, ID) added four goals, and junior Marc Mackides (Media, PA) had two goals and three assists.

Mike Ferrari (Port Washington, NY) made 15 saves goal for NDNU and senior Matt Lovejoy (Thornton, PA) made 14 saves for Bryant.

Bryant will return to action Wednesday, March 23, when they open Northeast-10 Conference play on the road at Saint Anselm. Game-time is set for 3:30PM in Manchester.
