Men?s Lacrosse?s Serge & Buckhout Honored by Conference

SOUTH EASTON, MASS. – Bryant University men’s lacrosse senior attackman Andrew Serge (Albany, NY) was named the Northeast-10 Player of the Week in announcement made yesterday by the conference office. He was joined by fellow Bulldog Craig Buckhout (South Salem, NY) who was named Freshman of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Serge was honored for his week that saw him notch seven goals and seven assists in a 3-0 week for Bryant. In a game against Pace he had two goals and an assist. He also notched three goals and three assists against Franklin Pierce. He also netted two goals and handed out three assists in a Northeast-10 quarterfinal win over Southern New Hampshire.

Buckhout was honored for the second consecutive week that saw him notch five goals and two assists in a 3-0 week. In a win over Pace, he notched a goal and assist. He also added three goals against Franklin Pierce and a goal and assist in a Northeast-10 quarterfinal win over Southern N.H.

Bryant will return to action Wednesday when they travel to Merrimack in a Northeast-10 Conference Semifinal match-up set for a 4:00PM start.
