The Bryant men's lacrosse team returns to action this afternoon hosting Merrimack College for a Northeast-10 Conference semifinal game. The Bulldogs, the No. 2 seed of the tournament received a quarterfinal round bye.  Merrimack, the No. 3 seed, knocked off Bentley 10-6 Tuesday evening in North Andover, MA. The winner of today's game will face the winner of today's other semifinal game between top-seed Le Moyne and No. 4 Saint Michael's in Sunday's championship.  The highest remaining seed will host the finals that are scheduled to start at noon.

SECOND MEETING OF THE YEAR
This is the second meeting of the year between Bryant and Merrimack as the Bulldogs got three goals from Kevin Hoagland in a 7-5 win over the Warriors in a game played at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA.  All-American Andrew Hennessey won 14 of 15 face-offs in the game while Matt McKeefrey put the game away with a late goal.

WE MEET AGAIN
This marks the fourth-straight year Bryant and Merrimack have met in the conference semifinals.  Bryant defeated Merrimack 10-9 in overtime in 2005 but fell to Warriors 12-10 in the 2006 semifinal, also played at Merrimack.  Last year, the Bulldogs got five goals apiece from Hoagland and Bryan Kaufmann in a 19-11 win over the Warriors at Bulldog Stadium.  Merrimack's Greg Rogowski had two goals and three assists.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Hoagland leads the Bulldogs with a career-best 41 goals this season and 14 assists. The junior had 40 goals last season.  Kaufmann is next with 32 goals including 10 man-up tallies.  Hennessey has won 209 of 295 face-offs this year.  Michael Kennedy brings a 6.38 GAA average into today's game.

LOOKING AT THE WARRIORS
