Bio
2010: Enjoyed a standout year defensively as a freshman, appearing in 16-of-17 games for Bryant... Led all longpoles in scoring with three goals and three assists... Third on the team among all rookies... Scored in back-to-back contests against Holy Cross and No. 9 Yale... Also recorded an assist against Yale in Bryant's first-ever win over a nationally ranked opponent... Picked up 20 ground balls, including a season-best four against Robert Morris on the road... Caused 11 opponent turnovers, good for fourth on the team and best among rookies, and went 2-for-4 on faceoffs on the year... Named Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week once.
Before Bryant: A 2009 graduate of Downingtown East High School, Poli was a four-year varsity starter on defense for the Cougars... Named a 2009 High School All-American... Led his team to three-straight 20+ win seasons and played a large part in Downingtown East's four-consecutive Chest-Mont League championships (2006-09)... Also led the Cougars to a 2007 Pennsylvania state title... Earned First Team All-Chest-Mont, First Team All-EPSLA and first team all-state selections as a senior... Named a Second Team All-Chest-Mont selection as a junior... Also played football for the Cougars.
