GREER NAMED TO USILA NORTH TEAM

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Bryant University men's lacrosse captain Zack Greer (Whitby, Ont.) will represent the first-year Division I Bulldogs at the 68th United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's North/South Games, to be played at Harvard Stadium Friday afternoon as announced by the USILA Monday night.

Greer will take the field as a member of the Division I/II North Team, who will be led by Bryant head coach Mike Pressler, on May 22, 2009. The game will be the middle match of a Friday triple header, with the Division III game to be played at 2:00 p.m., the Division I/II game to be played at 4 and a matchup between the Boston Cannons and the Denver Outlaws to follow at 7:30.

Pressler will be assisted in coaching the North Team by Kevin Cassese, head coach at Lehigh University. The South Team will be coached by Jim Stagnitta, head coach at Rutgers University and assisted by Jason Basso, assistant coach at Rutgers University.
