As a freshman: Appeared in 10 games in his first season with the Black and Gold ... Collected three ground balls and went 5-of-9 in faceoffs ... Won each of his first three collegiate faceoffs against Saint Joseph's (Feb. 19), Army (Mar. 11) and Providence (Mar. 22) ... Took a season-high four faceoffs against Mount St. Mary's on Apr. 30.

Before Bryant: A 2010 graduate of Indian Hills High School, where he was a four-year varsity letterwinner and starting midfielder… Led team to four-straight New Jersey state tournament appearances and a league title as a sophomore… Set a new single-season record for faceoff wins as a senior in 2010 (283)… Set a new record for career faceoff wins… Two-time first team all-league selection (2009 and 2010)… Second team all-suburban honors as a senior… Second team all-league pick as a sophomore… Also a three-year varsity football letterwinner, where he earned a second team all-league selection as a junior… Two-sport captain as a senior… Earned a varsity letter in basketball as a senior as well.

Personal: The son of Rob and Ginny Pirie, Robert Bruce Pirie was born September 2, 1992… Has one sister, Rebecca… Cousin Michael Burns plays lacrosse for North Carolina.
