Before Bryant: A 2014 graduate of West Islip High School, Bovich was a three-year varsity letterwinner and two-year starter for the Lions … Helped lead team to a 21-1 overall record and the New York state championship as a sophomore … West Islip won the Super Six Championship in 2013 before winning its division in 2014 … Two-time all-division selection … Senior captain.
Personal: Son of Jeanette and James Bovich, Trevor Bovich was born May 29, 1996 … Has one sister, Tara … Father played lacrosse at C.W. Post from 1982-86 before playing professional indoor lacrosse for the New York Saints from 1987-92.
