#2 Bulldogs take on #3 Robert Morris in NEC Semifinals Thursday at 4 p.m., watch live on ESPN3

GENEVA, N.Y. -- The second-seeded Bryant University men's lacrosse team will take on third-seed Robert Morris in the second of two NEC Semifinals Thursday at 4 p.m. for the right to advance to Saturday's NEC Championship Game.

The Bulldogs (8-7) won the regular-season matchup against the Colonials (9-6) in Smithfield back on April 22, 13-5, behind a career-high five goals from senior midfielder Tom Forsberg (Huntington, N.Y.) and six points (2g, 4a) from senior captain and All-NEC First Teamer Tucker James (Essex Fells, N.J.). Junior faceoff specialist and all-conference first teamer Kenny Massa (Huntington, N.Y.) went 13-for-20 at the X with six ground balls, while junior goalie James Werner (New Rochelle, N.Y.) made 10 stops in the victory.

The Bulldogs enter the postseason ranked inside the national top-20 in man-up offense (fifth, .500), faceoff winning percentage (13th, .559), scoring defense (14th, .853), caused turnovers per game (19th, 7.47) and scoring margin (20th, +1.73) and lead the NEC in four of the five categories.

The Bulldogs, who saw six players earn all All-NEC recognitions at Wednesday night's pre-tournament banquet, will be looking for their fifth NEC Tournament title and fourth NCAA tournament berth.

Thursday's NEC Semifinal can be seen live on ESPN3 and NEC Front Row. Fans can follow all the action on twitter with @bryantgameday and @necmlax and via live stats at bryantbulldogs.com.
