Kennedy tabbed as first-team Senior CLASS Award honoree

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Bryant University men's lacrosse senior Tom Kennedy (Farmingdale, N.Y.) has been chosen as a Senior CLASS Award First-Team Senior All-American, as announced Thursday.

Kennedy was one of five senior student-athletes nationally to be named to the first-team list for an award dedicated to excellence in four areas: community, classroom, character and competition.

The senior midfielder scored 20 goals while adding 11 assists and 27 ground balls for the Black and Gold as Bryant went 8-7 and 5-1 in the NEC. The Long Island native was a first-team all-NEC selection in football and lacrosse in his senior year. Kennedy completed his undergraduate degree in accounting with a 3.55 GPA.

Cornell's Jake Pulver was selected as the winner of the 2018 Senior CLASS Award. He and Kennedy are joined on the first team by Trevor Baptiste of Denver, Dan Morris of Maryland and Michael Rexrode of Rutgers.
