SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
BU is 3-1 on the year with wins over Providence, Dartmouth and Sacred Heart and a loss to Ohio State. The Terriers last played last Tuesday, earning a 16-11 win over the Pioneers in Fairfield.

Chris Gray entered the weekend leading the nation with 27 total points on 12 goals and 15 assists, while James Burr's 14 goals ranked second in the country. The Terriers have assisted on 34 of 49 goals this season.

THE SERIES
The Bulldogs and Terriers meet for the third-straight season on the final Tuesday in February. BU has won both meetings, including an 8-7 overtime clash in Smithfield a year ago. Jake Buonaiuto (Miller Place, N.Y.) tallied a goal and two caused turnovers in last season's matchup at the Bryant Track & Turf Complex.

LAST TIME OUT: BRYANT 6, DARTMOUTH 5
Sophomore Marc O'Rourke (Hingham, Mass.) contributed to four of Bryant's six goals and senior Kevin Beimfohr (Mountain Lakes, N.J.) made 14 saves including one in the final second that secured a one-goal win Saturday at Beirne Stadium.

BEANS MEANS BUSINESS
Senior Kevin Beimfohr was pressed into action Saturday in his first appearance of 2019 and delivered a stellar performance in the cage, turning aside 14 Dartmouth shots in a 6-5 victory at Beirne Stadium. Beimfohr's 14th save came in the final second while on a man-down and holding a one-goal lead.

DEFENSE STEPPING UP WHEN MAN-DOWN
Bryant is one of five teams in the nation this season not to allow a man-up goal, joining Air Force, Delaware, Marist and Navy. Opponents are 0-for-6 on the man-up against the Bulldogs in 2019.

LUKE, NOT LUCK
Freshman goalie Luke Caracciolo (Centreville, Va.) has put together back-to-back standout performances to begin his collegiate career. Caracciolo turned aside 16 Bucknell shots in the season opener before stopping 15 Providence attempts in the Feb. 16 win.

Caracciolo was named NEC Co-Rookie of the Week for the Bucknell game and earned NEC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his effort against Providence. The freshman from Virginia has recorded a .646 save percentage and 8.50 goals against average through his first two games in Black & Gold.

MAKING HIS MARC
Sophomore Marc O'Rourke has scored three goals in a game twice in 2019, giving him eight of three or more goals in his first 18 collegiate games.

SAVE THAT BALL
Redshirt-sophomore Andre Gomez (Melville, N.Y.) provided the Bulldogs a two-goal lead over Dartmouth Saturday with his first career tally in the fourth quarter of what proved to be a 6-5 victory.

Sophomore Pat Brosnan (South San Francisco, Calif.) and freshman Logan McGovern (Darien, Conn.) both scored their first collegiate goals in the win over Providence. McGovern scored twice, including one on acrobatic dive shot in the third quarter.

Freshman Mason Balch (Westfield, Mass.) scored twice in the season opener at Bucknell.

BULLDOGS AMONG NEW ENGLAND'S BEST
Bryant has won 107 games since joining Division I in 2009 - the second-highest total of the 15 Division I lacrosse programs in the six New England states behind Yale's 109. The Bulldogs' .605 winning percentage over those 11 seasons ranks second in New England after Yale (.694).
