Waldt named to Redwoods roster for PLL Championship Series

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Bryant University men's lacrosse alum Gunnar Waldt has been named to the Redwoods LC active roster for the Premier Lacrosse League Championship Series, to be played July 25-August 9 at Zions Bank Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Waldt enters his second season on the roster of Redwoods LC, which was a founding member of the PLL in the league's inaugural campaign in 2019.

The 2016 Bryant alum was a three-time USILA All-America selection in Black & Gold and helped the Bulldogs to three consecutive NEC titles from 2013-15 along with NCAA tournament victories over Siena and Syracuse in 2014. Waldt recorded an 8.37 goals-against average, .578 save percentage and 40 victories in his Bryant career.

Redwoods LC will face Atlas, Chaos, Chrome, and Whipsnakes in the four Group Play matches from July 25-August 2. All seven PLL teams will qualify for a single-elimination tournament to begin August 4 with the No. 1 seed receiving a bye. All 20 games can be streamed on NBC Sports Gold.
