Men's Lacrosse heads to Wagner on Sunday

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's lacrosse team heads to Staten Island to take on Wagner Sunday afternoon. Faceoff is set for 12:00 p.m.

THE SERIES
Bryant has won all 11 meetings between the two programs. The Bulldogs won the last meeting between the two teams, 13-4, in 2019. Bryant has held Wagner to nine goals or less in all 11 meetings.  

SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
Wagner enters the weekend 0-4 overall and 0-2 in the NEC. Philip Buque has nine goals and one assist to lead the offense. Brendon Higgins leads the team with three caused turnovers.

• The Bulldogs enter the weekend 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the NEC. 
• Bryant last played on March 6, a 20-8 victory over Merrimack. 
• Bryant is averaging 13.0 goals per game this season. 
• The Bulldogs are led offensively by Logan McGovern. The third-year has nine goals and nine assists for 18 points.
• Freshman Bennett Abladian has seven goals and five assists. 
• Classmate Mason Drouin is second nationally in man-up goals with four. 
• Another freshman, Nathan Laliberte, has won 61-of-96 faceoffs and has 31 ground balls. 
• LaJhon Jones has nine ground balls and seven caused turnovers.
