Caracciolo named NEC Defensive Player of the Week

SOMERSET, N.J. -- Bryant University goalie Luke Caracciolo was named the Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. 

Caracciolo stopped 13 of the 16 shots he faced in Bryant's 16-4 victory over Merrimack on Saturday. It marked the fewest amount of goals Bryant had allowed since 2019. 

In addition, Bennett Abladian and Marc O'Rourke were named #NECPrimePerformers. Abladian recorded a hat trick, while O'Rourke had 2 goals, an assist and four ground balls.

Bryant hits the road this weekend as it travels to Geneva, N.Y., to face Hobart.
