O'Rourke named NEC Offensive Player of the Week

SOMERSET, N.J. -- Bryant University men's lacrosse graduate student Marc O'Rourke has been named the Northeast Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. 

O'Rourke had a huge hand in Bryant's 22-10 victory over Sacred Heart, scoring a single-game program record nine goals and finishing with 12 points. His 12 points are the second-most in a single game in program history. 

With his outburst, O'Rourke became the second player in DI program history and the fifth in program history to record 200 career points. O'Rourke scored six of his goals in the first half and now has 147 goals in 52 career games. He has 207 career points. 

In addition, Jacob Alexander and Logan McGovern were named #NECPrimePerformers. Alexander won 19-of-23 faceoffs and finished with 13 ground balls, while McGovern posted four goals and two assists.
