SOMERSET, N.J. -- The Bryant University lacrosse team had seven players named to the All-Northeast Conference teams announced on Wednesday.

Marc O'Rourke, Aidan Goltz and Brody Rule were named to the first team, Timmy Hackett and Jacob Alexander were named to the second team and Tanner Alexander and Drew Lucas were all-rookie honorees.

O'Rourke picks up All-NEC honors for the fourth time in his career after putting together one of the best seasons of his career. He enters the NEC Tournament with career-highs in goals (43) and points (61), leading the NEC in points per game. Goltz has a pair of hat tricks on the year, including three goals and an assist at Saint Joseph's. He has scored a goal in all but two games this season.

Rule earns all-conference honors for the first time in his career after helping Bryant feature one of the top defensive units in the league. He's started all 14 games and has posted 20 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers. Rule has also chipped in a goal and an assist.

Hackett burst on the scene this spring to earn All-NEC Second Team honors. He enters the NEC Tournament with 24 points on 14 goals and 10 assists. Hackett has also posted 18 ground balls and eight caused turnovers. He has seven multi-point games, including five three-point games.

Alexander earns All-NEC honors after putting together another solid season at the faceoff X. He has won 131-of-237 faceoffs (55 percent) and has collected 79 ground balls. Alexander won 20-of-29 faceoffs in the opener vs PC and then won 19-of-23 against Sacred Heart. Alexander also won 12-of-23 against NEC Player of the Year Zach Cole. He's collected 10+ ground balls on three occassions.

Alexander has become a key long pole for the Black and Gold this year to earn All-Rookie honors. He's collected 32 ground balls and caused 12 turnovers. Alexander has posted 10 games with multiple ground balls, including seven against Sacred Heart.

Lucas also thrived on Bryant's defensive unit, collecting 32 ground balls and causing 11 turnovers. He posted seven ground balls and caused four turnvoers vs Long Island, earning NEC Rookie of the Week honors for his efforts.

Bryant will face Hobart on Thursday in the NEC Semifinals. Faceoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
