Bryant heads to Harvard for Tuesday night showdown under the lights

SMITHFIELD, R.I. –  The Bryant University men's lacrosse team travels to Cambridge on Tuesday to take on the Harvard Crimson under the lights. Faceoff is set for 7:00 p.m.

THE SERIES
Bryant and Harvard are tied 1-1 in the all-time Division I series. The Bulldogs last faced Harvard in 2016 where they won 12-9 at Beirne Stadium. The Black and Gold will also be looking to pick up their first road win in program history at Cambridge as they are currently 0-1 as visitors .     

SCOUTING HARVARD
The Crimson started off their season 1-0 after putting on a dominant performance against Providence in which they won 23-7 . Senior Blake Graham and sophomore Teddy Malone combined for 11 goals in the victory. Senior Christian Barnard is the team's starting goalkeeper. In the team's match against the Friars he recorded 9 saves in net and only allowed 5 goals.

BRYANT NOTES AND NOTABLES

  • A win on Friday would give Bryant their first 3-0 start in program history (Division I & II).

  • The Bulldogs win at BU gave them their first win vs a ranked opponent since 2021(Bryant 16, #19 Saint Joseph's 10 — May. 8, 2021).

  • Kevin Groeninger and Jack Lonsinger recorded hat tricks for the second consecutive game. Groeninger scored four goals while Lonsinger posted three.

  • Teagan Alexander made 13 saves for Bryant against the Terriers.

  • Nathan Laliberte won 18-of-22 faceoffs in Bryant's last game.
