RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Bryant University men's soccer team earned a come-from-behind, 2-1, double-overtime victory over host Felician College in non-conference action Monday afternoon at Tryon Field. The match was the home opener for Felician and Bryant's season opener.

The Bulldogs' Manny Rodriguez (North Branford, CT) ended the game at 101:39 when he blasted a 22-yard shot that deflected off the outstretched fingertips of Golden Falcon goalkeeper Paulo DosSantos and into the net. Bryan Gravel (Londonderry, NH) assisted on the play. Gravel had scored a game-tying goal in the 67th minute when he headed home a Nick Balistierri (Glastonbury, CT) corner kick.

Felician (0-3) scored on its first shot of the game when senior Nick Levinson put a ball in the lower right corner at 31:07. The Falcons carried the 1-0 lead into halftime despite an 11-2 first-half shot disadvantage.

Both DosSantos and Bulldog keeper Thomas Madden (Saco, ME) made three saves.

The Bulldogs (1-0) will open Northeast-10 play Wednesday at Assumption at 7 p.m.
