Men's Soccer Complete Sweep in Hawaii with 3-0 Victory over Chaminade
Honolulu, HI - The Bryant men's soccer team captured its second win in as many days with a 3-0 blanking of Chaminade University Saturday afternoon in Hawaii.
Freshman Erik Lekstrom (Worcester, MA.) started the scoring, taking a feed from Manny Rodriguez (North Branford, CT) for his first collegiate goal in the 27th minute.
Ryan Aspinall (Clinton, CT) made it 2-0 in the 54th minute as he put home a rebound past Chaminade goaltender Darren Smith.
After posting his first collegiate assist Friday, Sean Kaukas (Glastonbury, CT) tallied his first goal in the 89th minute, with classmate Norbert Guery (Andover, MA) notching the assist.
Tom Madden (Saco, ME) stopped one shot in net, picking up the clean sheet victory.
Aspinall led the Bulldogs offensively, posting four shots.
The Bulldogs (2-0) return to the Northeast and open conference play Saturday September 1st at Saint Michael's (1 p.m.).
