Men's Soccer Suffers First Loss; 4-1 to Saint Michael's

Men's Soccer Falls to Saint Michael's 4-1 Saturday

COLCHESTER, VT. - The Bryant men's soccer team suffered its first defeat of the season, losing to conference rival Saint Michael's 4-1 Saturday afternoon.

Norbert Guery (Andover, MA) scored Bryant's only goal, with junior Manny Rodriguez (North Branford, CT) picking up the assist in the 27th minute. The Bulldogs were trailing 2-0 at the time.

Guery led the team with two shots on goal, while six other players tallied one shot each.

Aaron Vine led the Purple Knight with a goal and two assists in the 4-1 victory.

The Bulldogs (2-1, 0-1 NE-10) will take on rival Bentley College Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in Waltham, Mass.
