BULLDOGS SHUTOUT BY KNIGHTS AT FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON, 3-0

Teaneck, N.J. - On a sunny Sunday afternoon in Teaneck, New Jersey, Fairleigh Dickinson forward Dominic Reinold accumulated five points on two goals and one assist to defeat the Bulldogs 3-0 in a Northeast Conference matchup.

The Bulldogs fall to 4-12 overall and 2-6 in the NEC with the loss as the Knights improved to 6-8-1 overall and 3-3-1 in the conference. The Knights outshot the Bulldogs 16-6 in the contest. Freshman keeper Matt Miscione (Ashburn, Va.) recorded four saves but allowed all three Knight goals.

Reinold scored the first goal of the game in the 22nd minute off a Christian Vasconez cross. Reinold was able to beat Miscione to the left side of the goal.

Bryant played FDU tough for the remainder of the first half and most of the second half until the last five minutes of the contest when the Knights were able to tally two more goals.

Reinold scored again in the 85th minute and had the assist on the final tally of the game just three minutes later.  

The Bulldogs return to conference action on Friday, Oct. 30 when they travel to Saint Francis (Pa.) to take on the Red Flash at 2:30 p.m. The Red Flash are currently 5-10-1 overall and 1-5-1 in the NEC.
