Larocque, Norat earn NSCAA All-Northeast Region honors

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Coming off its best Division I season in program history, the Bryant University men's soccer team saw two of its own, junior Brett Larocque (Ottawa, Ont.) and senior Connor Norat (Wilmington, Del.), earn spots on the 2014 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Men's All-Northeast Region Teams.

Larocque, who was tabbed as a first teamer, lead the Bulldogs in 2014 in points (16), goals (6), assists (4), and shots (51) as one of two players to start all 17 games. Larocque scored all six of his goals in the first nine matches of the year, picking up two game-winners in the process. He tallied a pair of multi-goal games, including a five-point outburst vs. Hartwick on Sept. 28. The junior, who currently sits as Bryant's DI all-time leading scorer, was also named to the All-Northeast Conference First Team and All-ECAC Second Team.

Norat, who earned a spot on the All-NSCAA Northeast Third Team, wrapped up his Bryant career with a terrific senior campaign, ranking second on the team with 10 points on four tallies and a pair of helpers. The senior secured his first All-NEC Second Team nod behind seven points vs. league opponents, including both goals in a double overtime with at Central Connecticut in the regular season finale.
