Bulldogs host Hawks Saturday at 1 p.m.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – After back to back one-goal road game loses, the Bryant University men's soccer team returns to Smithfield in pursuit of their second win of the season on Saturday against Hartwick at 1 p.m.

After taking a 3-0 lead in last years' match, the Bulldogs (1-5-2) defeated Hartwick (4-3-2), 4-2, in Smithfield. The Hawks split their last two games, beating Cornell at home, 2-0, but falling at Albany, 3-0.

Offensively, the Hawks are led by Jamie O'Grady with six goals off 13 shots on net. Scott Wyatt has tallied five total points off two goals and one assist for the Hawks. Keeper Lenny Wilson has started all nine games for Hartwick, logging 40 saves and 11 goals against. Wilson has also recorded three shut outs on the season.

Bryant goalie Chris Knaub (Yarmouth, Maine) noted his first shutout of the season against Buffalo (Sept. 13). The senior has raked in 21 saves in the first seven games of the season.

Classmate Brett Larocque (Ottawa, Ont.) leads the Bulldogs' attack, rattling off 14 shots and placing eight on goal. The forward tops the charts with 10 points off four goals and two assists. Sophomore Thomas Binder (Vienna, Austria) follows Larocque with six points off a pair of goals and two assists.
