Nick Balistierri '08 named head coach of Hartford City

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Former Bryant University men's soccer standout Nicholas Balistierri has recently been named the head coach of the Hartford City Football Club.

Hartford City Football Club is a member of the National Premier Soccer League, the largest established men's soccer league in the United States with 98 teams competing across the country.

Balistierri played at Bryant from 2004-2007, appearing in 62 matches over the course of his career. He collected nine career assists and helped the Black and Gold post three-straight winning seasons.

Prior to being named the head coach of HCFC, Balistierri served as an assistant coach for two seasons. Before joining HCFC, he was on the staff at the Oakwood Soccer Club, coaching on the boys US Soccer Development Academy.
