Valor earns second POTW honor of the season

BOSTON - On Monday morning senior midfielder Vicente Valor Martinez of the Bryant University men's soccer team was announced as the America East Offensive Player of the Week.

Valor scored the first two goals in the team's 3-0 win over Quinnipiac. He now has three goals on the season as well as four assists for a team leading 10 points.

This is Valor's second Player of the Week honor this season. He earned his first POTW accolade in Week 3 after having a hand in all three of Bryant's first half goals in their 4-0 win over Holy Cross.

Valor's two titles plus Abdel Talabi's Week 1 and Javier Soler Gandia's Week 4 Defensive Player of the Week honors bring the Bulldogs' season total to four.

The Black and Gold are back at it on Tuesday (Oct. 3rd) at 7:00 pm in a non-conference contest against Dartmouth.
