Pitarch receives AE Offensive Player of the Week honor

BOSTON - Junior forward Marc Pitarch Bayot of the Bryant University men's soccer team was named the America East Offensive Player of the Week by the organization on Monday morning.

Pitarch had a hand in the first four of Bryant's five goals against Binghamton this past weekend. He tallied two goals and two assists in the squad's win which secured the Bulldogs their first America East playoff appearance.

This is Pitarch's first Player of the Week accolade this season and of his Bryant career.

The Black and Gold have now racked up six weekly honors this season. Vicente Valor Martinez won the offensive award in Weeks 3 and 6. Abdel Talabi, Javier Soler Gandia, and Antreas Hadjigavriel all earned the defensive award in Weeks 1, 4, and 8, respectively.

Bryant returns to Beirne Stadium on Tuesday (Oct. 31st) for a 7:00 pm contest against UMass Lowell. The game is the Bulldogs' last of the regular season and will determine their seeding in conference playoffs.
