As a freshman: Recorded season-best personal times in the 50-yard backstroke (25.26), 100-yard backstroke (54.31), and the 200-yard backstroke (1:57.34) at the Harold Anderson Invitational (12/3/10)... Swam the 400-yard IM in 4:40.34 against BU and Maine (10/23/10)... Recorded a time of 2:04.39 in the 200-yard IM against Stony Brook (1/22/11)... Swam in the 200-yard freestyle against Boston College where he finished with a time of 1:54.04... Raced against Fairfield (11/20/10) where he finished with a time of 5:10.48 in the 500-yard freestyle... Raced in the 1000-yard freestyle against Holy Cross with a time of 10:46.20... Competed in a tri-meet against NJIT and SFNY (1/15/11) where he finished the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:15.04.

Before Bryant: Graduated from Pomperaug High School in 2010... Lettered in swimming for the Panthers all four years... All-conference team as a junior and senior... All-state as a junior and senior... Named all-american as a senior... school record holder in the 400 freestyle relay... Class L State Champion in the 100 backstroke... Honor roll.

Personal: Son of Paula and Keith Hessler, Cameron Hessler was born on March 30, 1992... Has two brothers, Tyler and Brendon.... Tyler swims at Stevens Institute of Technology.
