MSWM falls to Brown on Friday

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Senior Nicholas Karadimas (New Milford, Conn.) won the 100 free but it wasn't enough as the Bryant University men's swimming and diving team fell to Brown, 174-67, on Friday afternoon.

The Bulldogs (3-5) will now return home to host Holy Cross next Saturday, Feb. 1. They will celebrate Senior Day prior to the meet.

On Friday, Karadimas' first-place finish highlighted the afternoon. The senior won the event with a time of 47.19. The Bulldogs also received strong performances from Kevin Hong (Bridgewater, N.J.) and Andrew Neggia (Ramsey, N.J.). Hong finished third in the 1000 (10:09.25) and Neggia finished third in the 500 (4:59.17).

Saturday's meet with Holy Cross is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
