Vyskocil earns Google Cloud Academic All-District® honors

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University men's swimming and diving senior Shane Vyskocil (Parsippany, N.J.) was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District Men's District I At-Large team on Thursday afternoon.

The Google Cloud Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages and are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.

Vyskocil becomes the first swimmer in DI program history to earn Academic All-District honors after posting a perfect 4.0 GPA as a Politics and Law major. In addition to helping the Bulldogs to their best finish ever at the MAAC Championships, Vyskocil was named the Bryant Athletics Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year and will receive the Political Science Award, the George J. Kelley Award and a President's List Sash at Saturday's Commencement ceremonies.
