Katie Polk is entering her third season as the diving coach at Bryant in 2024.

In her two seasons with the Bulldog program, Polk has had two athletes earn Diver of the Meet honors (Kyri Chambo in 2023 and Christopher Buonocore in 2024). In addition, three of Bryant's divers have qualified for NCAA Zones under Polk's guidance. Kyri Chambo qualified in the 1 meter in 2023 while Christopher Buonocore and Megan Beasley qualified for Zones in both the 1 and 3 meter dives.

Polk came to Smithfield after coaching at Simmons College. She helped lead the Sharks to a runner-up finish at last year's GNAC Championships and a 2022 CSCAA Scholar All-America team award.

Polk dove collegiately at UMass Amherst, winning an Atlantic 10 three-meter championship and Diver of the Year honors in 2019. She was a three-year team captain and four-year zone qualifier for the Minutewomen.
