MEN'S TENNIS COMES UP SHORT IN FINALE AT CONCORDIA

BRYANT MEN’S TENNIS FALLS TO CONCORDIA (NY) 8-1

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Bryant University men’s tennis team closed out its 2010 season Sunday with an 8-1 loss to Concordia (NY) in a match held at the College Racquet Club. 

The Bulldogs were swept in all three doubles matches to fall behind 3-0 to start the match and saw several singles matches go into three sets. But Bryant managed just one win in singles as Dan Cournoyer rallied back from dropping the opening set to Dane Ostilly, to win the next two 6-3, 6-1 at No. 6. 

Cristian Balestrieri fell in straight sets to Alex Grubin while Juan Paredes dropped a three-set match to Andrey Boldarev.
