Bulldogs fall at Brown, 7-0

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 non-conference match to intrastate rival Brown on Sunday in Providence, R.I., opening with a defeat in doubles play before falling in all six singles contests.

Freshman Connor Crowley (London, Ontario) put up the toughest fight on the day in No. 6 singles, taking the first set over David Neff but ultimately falling 2-6, 6-4 (10-6). Junior Juan Paredes (Quito, Ecuador) fell in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 singles while senior Cristian Balestrieri (Mar Del Plata, Argentina) dropped a 6-3, 6-1 decision at the second spot.

The Black and Gold return to Northeast Conference action on Saturday March 26 when they visit Quinnipiac at 1:00 p.m.
